Description
My bike was bought as a project in 2015, ridden once and then dismantled for a nuts and bolts restoration. After taking two years off to renovate our bungalow the bike was rebuilt in 2017 using as many original parts as possible, parts that were unserviceable were replaced mainly from David Silver Spares as they are, by and large, original old stock. Parts replaced include Fork Stanchions, Front Brake Caliper, Rear Mudguard, Saddle, Rear Shocks and Indicator Housings and Lenses. All low tension bolt holes have been helicoiled to overcome the issues of 45 year old Japanese aluminium and many bolts and screws have been faithfully replaced with marine grade stainless steel
The bike is always kept under a cover in a dry garage and is registered as an Historic Vehicle, in the time I have had it, particularly since the rebuild, it has done less than 500 miles, hence the reason for selling it now.
I also have a bin full of parts that were removed from the bike plus various gaskets etc. and a collection of manuals and documents mostly in PDF format, as shown in the attached pictures I have a large ring binder of receipts for parts that have been bought.
