Description
1956 BSA B34 Competition alloy Clipper 500cc. The B34 Alloy Clipper is one of BSA's rarest bikes from the 1950's with only c800 manufactured between 1956 and 1957. Primarily for off road competition use, most went to the USA/Australia although a few (including this one) remained in the UK. As can be seen, the engine, frame and cycle parts are heavily influenced by the BB34 Gold Star. The Clipper was designed by BSA to use up spare parts left over when they stopped making the BB34 GS model and introduced the CB34 GS.
This example has been fully rebuilt to a high standard. The restoration includes: New piston, new chrome guards, Catalina tank, Gold star front brake, new stainless steel rims and spokes, mag rebuild and straight through exhaust. Starts well with lots of compression and sounds great with the straight through exhaust. This is a very rare model and the only one for sale on the market! Un registered.
