Royal Enfield Continental GT 250cc 1966. This beautiful bike was one of a consignment of 106 sent to the USA from new before being registered in the UK, the Americans however decided they wanted larger capacity bikes so apart exchange deal was done with Interceptors and the smaller cafe racers were returned to the UK.This explains the later registration RDX 507J.The engine was completely rebuilt by Hitchcocks in 2017 at a cost of over £2500 and has done very few miles since then.It has a aluminium tank with correct filler cap by Holts (over £1100) this has not been painted red but would be an option for the new owner. not an Indian copy. 12 v electronic ignition with new battery and alloy rims.
