Douglas Mk IV

First registered 5th Aug 1950, this Douglas Mk IV 348cc, FRP 961, was fully restored by its previous keeper before some minor work and onward sale by Classic Motorcycles Ltd in Northwich.

Purchased by my late father in February 2018, it has been in dry storage since and has not been used.

There is some slight corrosion around the battery tray from a small acid leak from the battery but otherwise the bike is pristine.

Mileage in the listing is shown as 300 as that is the minimum allowed but the clock shows 0009 and previous MOTs going back to 2004 show the mileage at 00002, I assume the odometer was reset when the bike was restored by the previous owner.

Rare example with matching frame and engine numbers, 8781/4B and 8781/4 respectively.
