This Actual Year And Model , Won The World Scrambler Championship In 1948 And 49 , With Harold Lines ! This Beauty Has Been Ridden Regularly And Well Cared For , For The Past 35 Years , By The Last Owner ; Now 82 Years Old ; Who Bought It From A Friend , Who Again Looked After It And Left It Original ! It Has Been Well Used And Very Well Maintained , Over The Past 65 Years , With The Engine And Gearbox Having Been Rebuilt , To Keep It In Tip Top Condition ; Though The Remainder Of The Machine Has Been Left Untouched ; As It Left The Factory , To Maintain Its Originality.
It's Been Used Extensively In The Salisbury Arbuthnot Trial ( named after Sir Robert / Admiral Arbuthnot ) All Details Of Which Are In Its History File . This Was A Very Tough , Time Trial , Over Some 75 Miles , On Ancient Tracks And Green Lanes. This Machine Has Got Great Provenance And History And Has Lovely Aged Patina.
