Velocette Venom Clubman 500cc 1960

Velocette Venom Clubman 500cc 1960. In nice condition looking to be an older restoration with only 1865 miles on the clock. Restored into standard trim. Confirmation from Grove Classics that it left the works as a Clubman. Runs very well as can be seen in the video. Also starts easily for a Velo.

It has a Prefix 12  close ratio  gear box and a BTH racing magneto. The gear change is reversed (1 down, 3 up) so it seems likely that it was in Clubman trim at some stage. It was brought back from the States by an American pilot in 1993 and he undertook the restoration in the UK as he was living here at the time.
