Triumph Bonneville T140V 1976

1976 Triumph Bonneville T140V 750cc. In great condition, Fully rebuilt with matching engine and frame. In 2019 it was subject to a full engine re-build which included removal of the crank, cleaning the sludge trap out. The crank journals were all in spec, new shells, con rods, and main bearings fitted . The original barrels had 2 broken fins, so was fitted with brand new barrels, pistons and rings. The head was fitted with new guides, seats re-cut and new valves fitted. It has a new primary chain, 7 plate clutch, and new alternator.

The wiring was in a poor state so a new wiring loom was fitted along with Pazon electronic ignition, and podtronic reg/rec. Carbs were fitted with stay up floats and new jets and needles. All brake calipers have been re-furbished with new pistons,seals and pads. Frame re-painted, Wheels have been re-built with stainless rims and spokes. Forks have had new seals and progressive springs, and the rear shocks are new, new speedo. The tank is a brand new one made and painted in the UK by LF Harris,

It has now done 826 miles since the engine was re-built and runs excellent! The engine was re-torqued the cylinder head, re-set the tappets and changed the oil and filter at 500 miles. We Have receipts for all the parts fitted. Very easy to put on the stand and also starts easily too .
