Douglas Aero DC38 1938

1938 Douglas Aero DC38 600cc. A very rare model in excellent condition. The tank paint is in excellent condition. All chrome is excellent. All tinwork is excellent. Saddle is in perfect condition. Toolbox leather flaps are new.

All control cables, inner and outer are new. It has an led stop/tail light bulb. All lights are working. BTH dynamo works. Battery is nearly new. Girder fork spindles and nuts were new in January 2021. Throttle twist grip assembly was new April 2021. It has an original (working) Douglas tyre inflator. All four gears select and change up and down easily. Tyres are good with 4mm front and 7mm rear tread. It has its Pride & Clarke suppliers brass plate on the front mudguard.

It has discrete led direction indicators on the rear tool boxes to try to stop drivers who haven't a clue about hand signals, from overtaking when turning right ! Easily removable if required.
